Last night, Indiana’s coach Kevin Wilson was fired for apparently not following concussion protocol.
This came as a surprise, as Kevin Wilson has taken Indiana to consecutive bowl games for the first time since 1990. That surprise caused some controversy on Twitter between Indiana football players:

Nothing like making jokes about brain health, amiright lmao!
Some other players and parents came out in defense of Kevin Wilson:

What is going on in Bloomington right now is intriguing. I’ll keep an eye on it. Maybe the firing was premature, maybe it wasn’t. The change going on in the football world currently with the treatments of players health is a positive, but there will be some unfair casualties in that shift and Kevin Wilson may have been one of them.
Oh, and Indiana still has one more game to play.
